Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1966

Estelle latched onto Jonathan's arm, rising on her tiptoes to plant a kiss on his lips, her voice husky with curiosity, "Zion's security is tight. When Amiee hacked the surveillance, she could only stay undetected for a short while. Can she and Nate really keep it under wraps indefinitely?"

Jonathan returned her kiss with fiery passion, "The day I arrived, things took a turn."

"What kind of turn?" Estelle inquired, her interest piqued.

"I won't tell you just yet—it's your punishment for not following orders!" Jonathan playfully nipped at her lip.

The girl Estelle had earlier put in her place chased after them, catching sight of Estelle in the strong, handsome man's embrace, their silhouettes dancing intimately in the dimly lit space.

"Bitch!" The girl spat the word out with venom before turning on her heel and storming off.

When Lambert arrived, Estelle had just stepped out of the dance floor, her face half-hidden behind a mask. Yet, Lambert recognized her instantly, seizing her hand, "Where've you been? I've been looking everywhere for you!"

Estelle wriggled free from his grasp, "What's up?"

"Nothing!" Lambert, slightly buzzed from the drinks, his brown eyes darker than usual, fixated on her lips, "Did you put on lipstick?"

Her lips looked stunning!

A blush crept over Estelle's ears as she turned her head away, feigning nonchalance, "Have you seen Evelyn around?"

She was supposed to meet Sylvia and Evelyn, but with the crowd so dense and the lighting so dim, finding them was no easy feat.

"Didn't catch her," Lambert said, his gaze never leaving Estelle, scanning over her maid outfit, "Why did you switch to this get-up?"

"Do you not like it?" Estelle asked.

"It's gorgeous, absolutely stunning!" Lambert's eyes were intense.

"Then I'll go change!"

Lambert was speechless.

Estelle called over her shoulder, "Don't follow me!"

As Lambert watched her disappear into the throng, he arched an eyebrow in resigned amusement.

Estelle made her way back to the maid's changing room on the first floor. No sooner had she undone two buttons of her dress than she felt a looming presence behind her.
