Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1987

Ryder instructed with a stern voice, "I need you to go help Huff look into what went down on the 49th floor. By the way, keep an eye on the people around you."

"Got it!" Winston replied with a firm nod, getting ready to make his exit.

He turned on his heels and headed towards the door, feeling a lump in his throat and his dress shirt sticking to his back, damp with nervous sweat.

Once Winston left, Ryder sat back in his chair; the anger slowly faded from his face, replaced with a hint of excitement glinting in his brooding eyes.

Could it be him?

He's actually in Zion!

With Stella being around, even blowing up the 49th floor wouldn’t make him leave!

How perfect!

The drama of sibling affection was always a crowd-pleaser!

Alvis was in on this too, and his aim can't just be the new energy project.

What then?

Did he want to join forces with that guy to take over Citadel?

A cold smile curled the corners of Ryder's lips. Let them all come; the more, the merrier!

After a refreshing shower, Estelle stepped out of the bathroom, only to find a tall silhouette lounging on the balcony sofa, who was flipping through the book she had been reading over the past few days.

Pulling the curtains closed behind her, Estelle settled onto the carpet, and then she rested her head against the man's leg, with a docile demeanor. Her freshly washed hair fanned across her soft, innocent-looking cheeks.

Jonathan continued to read, seemingly oblivious to her approach.

Estelle propped her chin on his thigh and gazed up at him; her dark eyes were clear and bright.

Yet, he spared her not a single glance.

Estelle’s hand crept under his shirt, and her fingers traced the contours of his solid muscles as she ventured upwards, while asking with a soft and suggestive voice, “Mr. Alvis, don’t you want to check for yourself if I’ve been hurt?”
