Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 199

Estelle was enjoying her tea, and she was pretty happy that the bulter Old Mr. Wade knew she had a sweet tooth, so he'd put sugar in it. It tasted nice.

But when she heard what Old Mr. Jarvis said, she almost spat out her tea and had to turn her head to cough, not daring to look up.

Jonathan was taken aback, and his gaze quickly went cold. "What do you mean, sir?"

Old Mr. Jarvis continued to fan himself, speaking calmly. "Don't get me wrong, I have an orchid cactus plant about to bloom tonight, and I need someone to help me collect the pollen when it does. I'll need someone to spend the night, checking every fifteen minutes. I thought this girl could help, and if you're willing, you can pick her up tomorrow morning, along with the earrings. I won't ask for a single cent."

The look in Jonathan's eyes turned colder. "I'm afraid I can't agree to that. You can name your price for the earrings."

Old Mr. Jarvis shook his head with a serious face. "No bargaining. Either let this girl stay and help me, or you two can leave now!"

Jonathan's face remained cold as he took Estelle's hand and got up. "Sorry to bother you. We'll be leaving."

With that, he turned and walked away with Estelle.

Estelle looked back and glared at Old Mr. Jarvis. What was this old man up to?

She had already texted him beforehand, telling him to pretend not to know her and not to make things difficult for Jonathan, just to give a decent price for the earrings.

Old Mr. Jarvis rolled his eyes at her, snorted, and turned his head away, acting all superior.

Estelle was led out the door by Jonathan. In the corridor, Millard approached them. "Did Old Mr. Jarvis agree?"

Jonathan kept his usual expression. "No, let's go back."
