Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 206

Estelle turned around and left the flower vine, glancing back at the closed door behind her. Instead of going back to her room, she headed to the front yard.

Old Mr. Jarvis's room still had lights on. Estelle knocked gently on the door and soon heard someone say, "Come in!"

Estelle opened the door, beaming, "You're not asleep yet, Old Mr. Jarvis?"

Old Mr. Jarvis was reclined in his chair listening to music. He sat up and turned off the phonograph, glancing at her and grumbled, "Had too much coffee, I can't sleep!"

Estelle sighed, "Seems like you weren't waiting for me and don't want to see me. I'll go back to sleep then."

As she turned to leave, the old man shouted before her hand could reach the door, "Come back here, you!"

Estelle giggled, turned back, and asked obediently, "The last time we video chatted, you had a coughing fit, are you better now?"

"Now you care about me, huh? You never even thought about coming back to visit me!" Old Mr. Jarvis huffed.

Estelle sat down next to him and got him a glass of water, "You know about my relationship with Jonathan. It's not appropriate for me to come back. Besides, didn't I promise you I'd come back after finishing my part-time job?"

Old Mr. Jarvis snorted, "What's the deal between you and him? You're set on being together even though the engagement is over. What are you really after?"

Estelle leaned forward, resting her chin on her hand, "Being with him is really fun. Didn't you always tell me, as long it's enjoyable, go for it?"

"Being happy isn't just about having fun for a moment. True happiness is long-lasting," Old Mr. Jarvis said with a heavy heart.

"If you genuinely love him, I'll personally handle the matters with the Lamont family. Don't worry about your own accomplishments; being Vince's granddaughter would suffice for marrying into their family!" Old Mr. Jarvis exclaimed.
