Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 2070

Catherine clung to Estelle's hand with a look of concern etched on her face. "My dear, have you lost weight? Don't mind the nonsense spewed online, let Jonathan handle it!"

Estelle touched her cheek, trying to reassure her. "No, it's just been a while since you've seen me. That's all!"

"I'll have you stay home for a few days so we can fatten you up properly!"

Magdalen, with a glint in her eye, chimed in playfully, "Mrs. Lamont, Ella just got back. We haven't had enough time to catch up with her. How about you lend her to us for a few days before she's all yours again?"

Catherine laughed heartily, "Alright, but she's staying at home tonight. When she's out with you all, make sure to take good care of her!"

"Don't worry, I'd gladly trade the couple of pounds I've put on these past days for Ella's benefit!"

Magdalen's quick wit sent Catherine into a fit of laughter.

Nearby, Emily accepted a cup of tea from the servant and passed it to Aimee. "Did Estelle really go to C City?"

And why did Old Mr. Jarvis come to J City to pick her up?

Aimee took a sip and spoke cryptically, "Let's just say she went to C City. Some things are better left unsaid."

Emily nodded in understanding, "I know Estelle's got her secrets. As long as you're all safe, that's what matters."

"With Mr. Lamont by her side, there's nothing to worry about," Aimee assured her.

"Good."

Estelle stood up, addressing Charlie, "You've just returned as well. Take Emily home to check on Kya. I'm fine here."

Charlie nodded, then turned to Jonathan with a serious tone. "The Crawley family is finished, but if you're hesitant to deal with the Macclain family, I'll step in."

After all, they were Estelle's biological parents, and he didn't want Jonathan caught in a tough spot.

Jonathan's expression was steely. "There's no hesitation. Come morning, I'll have them begging Ella for mercy."

"You're ruthless," Charlie chuckled, then added, "Emily and I will head out. If anything comes up, give us a call."
