Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 2081

Jonathan meticulously checked each call and message on her phone. The majority were pleas for mercy from the Macclain family. There were also texts—all of them begging Estelle to spare them.

He deleted everything without a second thought.

Then a number he didn't recognize caught his eye. It seemed familiar, and upon a second glance, he realized it was Sabina's.

She had also sent a text, [Estelle, I know the Macclains never treated you like family, but you never considered them your kin either. Otherwise, you wouldn't have kept your marriage to the Lamonts under wraps like this! You've got everything now, why drive the Macclains to ruin? Show some mercy. Your grandpa's old and can't take this stress. Plus, I heard your mom's in the hospital. You're still a Macclain at heart; we're all family. Must it end with our destruction?]

Jonathan's brow furrowed. He had forgotten about Sabina.

After deleting her message, he called Chuck, "Notify HR to fire Sabina. From now on, she's blacklisted from all Lamont enterprises."

Crossing the Lamonts was like crossing the industry, maybe even the whole of J City. Sabina, having been Jonathan's right hand for years, knew too many Lamont Group secrets.

Who would dare hire her and risk the wrath of the Lamonts?

Even if they valued her talent, it was impossible to explain.

Sabina would struggle to find her footing in the country from now on.

Chuck didn't ask any questions, simply acknowledged the order. He then asked Jonathan to pass on his regards to Mrs. Lamont on behalf of all the staff.

They chuckled about the recent gossip that Mr. Lamont preferred younger women, to which Jonathan replied with a laugh, "She'll visit the office when she has time. There'll be plenty of opportunities to meet her, no rush!"

After a few more words, Jonathan hung up and saw Estelle looking up at him with those soulful eyes that seemed to say she wouldn't be able to visit him at his office as freely anymore.

He leaned down and kissed her eyes, "Chuck said, next time you come to the office, they'll take turns buying you pastries and milkshake floats. They'll even pretend they don't know you're my wife."

Estelle hummed skeptically, "Don't lie to me!"
