Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 210

Suddenly, Emily heard the man emit a soft "hmm." She swiftly raised her gaze, catching sight of the man opening his eyes. Their eyes locked in a brief yet powerful moment of connection. Emily found herself unable to utter a word, while the man questioned if he was still in a dream. The girl before him seemed strangely familiar.

For a fleeting moment, uncertainty gripped Emily as the man remained motionless and silent. Had she rendered him speechless or blinded him?

Feeling anxious, Emily stood up, waved her hand in front of the man's eyes, and cautiously inquired, "Hey, can you see me?"

Charlie frowned and spoke with a hoarse voice, "I feel dizzy, get your hand away!"

Emily immediately withdrew her hand, relieved that he wasn't dumb or blind.

Charlie felt a wave of dizziness with even the slightest movement, limiting him to shifting his eyes to survey his surroundings. He questioned, "Is this a hospital?"

"Yes," Emily confirmed.

Charlie appeared perplexed. "But how did I end up here?"

Glancing at Emily once more, he inquired, "And why are you here as well?"

Emily's eyes widened in surprise. "Don't you remember?"

Frowning, Charlie expressed his confusion. "What happened?!"

Emily's expression changed, concerned that he might have lost his memory. She cautiously asked, "Do you know who you are? Can you recall the year we're in?"

Charlie glared at her, "I just can't remember how I fainted!"

"Oh, I see!" Emily laughed awkwardly, wondering whether to tell him the truth.

She was afraid he would jump up and hit her if she told the truth, especially since the policewoman with her hadn't come back.

"Well, it's like this," Emily chuckled, "last night I was running downstairs and saw you passed out, so I called an ambulance to take you to the hospital. I don't know how you fainted, though. How about you think about it?"

Charlie frowned, remembering that he had had a late night and had drunk a lot. Reef offered to take him to the Royal Mansion to rest.
