Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 213

Emily approached, holding a bowl of soup, and stood before the man with a warm smile. "Here you go, drink up!" she cheerfully offered.

Charlie glanced up, his gaze meeting the girl's eyes, which were radiant and sparkling, reminiscent of obsidian kissed by raindrops.

"Shouldn't you be the one feeding me?" Charlie playfully remarked.

Emily felt a little embarrassed and asked, "Can you drink it yourself?"

"If I could drink it myself, why would I need you to take care of me?" Charlie laughed, not mad at all. "If you don't want to, I can just hire a caretaker myself."

"It's fine, I can do it!" Emily initially felt guilty for injuring Charlie and was grateful he only asked her to take care of him for a few days without making her pay for medical expenses. How could she refuse?

Emily sat by the bed, picked up a spoon, and fed the man one bite at a time.

The man was wearing a black satin pajama set, his skin was a pampered kind of white— especially now as he leaned against the headboard, giving off an air of luxury.

His lips, initially thin, took on a rosy and alluring hue after sipping the soup. Emily, never having been in such close proximity to a man before, found herself blushing and averting her gaze from Charlie's face. Instead, she focused on the handle of the spoon.

Charlie noticed her discomfort and flashed a gentle smile. "The soup is quite delicious," he remarked.

Emily's face flushed even deeper shades of red. "I picked up a few cooking tips from watching my dad in the kitchen since I was a child. If there's something specific you'd like to eat, just let me know. If I don't already know how to make it, I can always learn."
