Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 2218

Baron was utterly shocked. "It's because of Gabriel? What's so special about him?"

Darren hesitated, then decided against saying more. Instead, he spoke with a heavy tone, “There are things better left unknown. At dawn, you’re leaving with your uncle to go abroad. I don’t want you coming back. Stay away for now!”

“I don’t want to leave; I want revenge!”

“Revenge for what?” Darren exploded, his pent-up frustration finally breaking free. “Your antics could doom our entire family. Your grandfather and I won’t end well because of this. Do you understand?”

Baron was stunned into silence.

It seemed only now did he grasp the gravity of the situation.

Darren said, “I need to deal with this mess immediately, no more talking. Follow your uncle's instructions and don’t cause any more trouble, or even I won’t be able to protect you!”

With that, Darren ended the call.

Baron still looked bewildered.

Hans was about to step forward and offer some words of comfort when suddenly, the door to the hospital room burst open. Several police officers walked in, wielding an arrest warrant. “Baron, you are under arrest for illegal possession of firearms, drugging, assault, kidnapping, embezzlement, and bribery among other charges!”

Baron collapsed onto the bed, defeated.

Hans felt a sinking feeling in his heart, realizing the Barlow family's influence was now worthless. There was no escaping this time!

The winter night in J City was still bustling, but beneath the surface, unseen currents were shifting, heralding changes nobody would anticipate.

Baron’s arrest had triggered a night-long investigation into his company, uncovering a mountain of evidence and witnesses against him.

Dannis, who had been involved in some of Baron’s dealings, was taken to the police station in the middle of the night.

Audrey couldn’t escape the fallout either.

When Audrey was brought in, she tried calling Baron to fix things for her, but couldn’t get through. She thought Baron was abandoning her.

Finally, she managed to reach Mr. Bright. With a careless attitude, she said, “Dad, I got into a bit of trouble. Can you pick me up from the station?”
