Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 2311

"Come on, it's New Year's. Let's let the vendors finish up and head home early," Gabriel said.

Sylvia took a red rose, sniffed it gently, and looked down with a nonchalant expression. "So, you're just being considerate. Here I was, thinking it was something more!"

It was the first time Gabriel saw her slightly annoyed, yet he found it rather charming.

He leaned against the car, his gaze deep and intense. "I'm not sure if I'd feel sorry for a stranger, but one thing's for sure: I wouldn't be buying flowers if it weren't for you."

Sylvia, caught between the man and the car with a basket of flowers in hand, looked up in surprise.

Gabriel gazed into her eyes, gently took the hand that held the flowers, and leaned in to kiss her.

Sylvia was taken aback for a moment but soon closed her eyes and returned the kiss.

He gave her the kiss that had been left unfinished before.

When they got back in the car, Sylvia's mood had visibly improved. She held a basket full of red roses, her beautiful face glowing even more radiantly.

After a two-hour drive, they reached The Green.

The Green was another estate belonging to the Jarvis family, located in a historic town north of C City. It boasted a library, a private garden, and a mansion with a blend of Western styles, sprawling over a vast area. It was where the Jarvis family occasionally entertained guests.

They arrived at around four in the afternoon. Ansel, hearing of Gabriel's visit, was waiting outside with his daughter, Ann Flairs.

Seeing the car approach, Ann's face lit up with a smile. "Daddy, Gabriel's here!"

Ansel greeted them with a broad smile as the car drew nearer.

But when the car stopped, Ansel's smile deepened, though he noticed there was a woman with them.

Gabriel walked over, took the basket of flowers from her, and handed it to a servant with instructions to take it to his room.
