Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 245

When Estelle went back upstairs, she got a message from Jonathan, "Come to the master bedroom!"

Estelle knocked on the door and went in. The man was sitting in bed reading a book. He smiled at her and said, "Come over here!"

She walked over, lay on the bed, with her chin resting on his long legs, her big eyes looking at him, hesitating to speak.

Jonathan leaned down slightly and touched her head, "What's up?"

Estelle pulled his hand and used it as a pillow under her face, half-closing her eyes and said, "You know a lot of things, so tell me, why do some parents not love their own children?"

Jonathan felt her soft cheek in his palm, as if she was entirely in his hands. He thought for a moment and then spoke slowly, "Human nature is very complex, good and evil coexist, greatness and selfishness exist as well. Any form of behavior is normal, nothing strange!"

Estelle's face was indifferent, even somewhat cold, "Yes, anything can happen to a person and none of it is worth being surprised about!"

Jonathan said lightly, "Some animals are gentle, some are heartless, after all, humans are animals too."

Estelle nodded and closed her eyes.

Jonathan bent over to kiss her and tried to pick her up, but Estelle moved his hand away, "I haven't showered yet."

"Then go shower!"

"I'm too tired, I don't wanna move."

"I'll help you!"

Jonathan's eyes were filled with indulgence, his hand slid down to support her neck while the other went around her waist, picking her up directly.

The man was only wearing a towel around his waist, and Estelle was cuddling in his arms. She suddenly looked up at him and said, "I think I understand something now."
