Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 311

Estelle calmly looked at him and slowly said, "I know what you're thinking! You think we should've died with Tyrannosaurus and the others that day! Since we didn't, it became a burden on your conscience, so you let yourself live miserably, as if by doing so, you can somehow make it right with them!"

Xavier's eyes became red, his face grew dark, and he clenched his teeth. "Weren't we supposed to? The seven of us made a promise to live and die together. But five of them died. Why should we still be so happily alive?"

"You hate seeing me live comfortably, don't you?" Estelle's voice was rough. "I'm the one who should have died, not Tyrannosaurus and the others!"

Xavier turned his head away. "I didn't think that way!"

"Yes, you did!" Estelle angrily threw a fruit knife from the table onto his blanket. "Kill me, avenge them, and then die with me! That way, we can be reunited with them down there!"

Xavier turned back to look at her, his expression darkened.

Provocatively, Estelle shouted, "Go on, kill me! After you kill me, you'll get what you want!"

Xavier clenched his teeth, "I said, I didn't think that way!"

"Then, how did you think?" Estelle suddenly frowned, "You're such an idiot!"

Xavier's eyes widened, "What did you say?"

"I said you're an idiot!" Estelle stared at him coldly and disdainfully, "Did they want to die? If they had the chance to live, would they have chosen death? But you survived, yet you don't cherish the chance they gave us with their lives!"

Xavier glared at her with fury.

"What?!" Estelle abruptly stood up, grabbed the cup of water beside her, and splashed it in his face. She spoke coldly, "If they knew how foolish you are, they would be ashamed to call you their brother, even in the afterlife!"

"What's happening?" The nurse, who had come to check on him, stood at the door, trembling at the sight of Estelle splashing water on Xavier.

Estelle composed herself, stood up, and left.
