The man cupped her face, kissing her with intense urgency.

There were screams of terror coming from the movie. Estelle tried to take a look, but Jonathan quickly blocked her view and pressed her onto the couch, continuing to kiss her.

Jonathan reached for the remote and turned off the TV, stopping the screams.

The living room became completely dark, only lit by light coming in from the window.

Jonathan carried Estelle to the master bedroom.

Estelle hugged him, suddenly realizing something and laughing out loud, "Jonathan, are you scared?"

He breathed heavily, "You're not allowed to watch this kind of thing anymore!"

Estelle found it hilarious as if she'd just heard the funniest joke. She laughed out loud, her shoulders shaking, and eventually leaned her head on his shoulder, still chuckling.

The man frowned, looking a bit hurt, "Is it that funny?"

Estelle bit her lip, trying not to laugh too loudly. She cupped his face, leaned in, and whispered, "No, it's cute!"

After saying that, without waiting for his reply, she kissed him.
