Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 565

"Sales? That's pretty good! As long as young people have ambitions, they're bound to have a promising future!" Inman said with a smile.

"Yep!" Estelle chuckled and nodded.

On the other side, Mr. Mayfield called Hattie over and introduced her to Yvonne, asking them to get acquainted since they would play sisters in the movie. Familiarity would make it easier for them to have chemistry on screen.

With a humble expression, Hattie said, "Hi, Ms. Yvonne! I'm a huge fan of yours! It's been my dream since school to work with you!"

Yvonne smiled faintly, "Don't say you grew up watching my performances. I am only two years older than you. You're making me feel old already!"

Hattie looked embarrassed, and her agent Amy quickly explained, "Ms. Yvonne, you misunderstand, Hattie didn't mean that. She was just too excited and spoke out of line!"

"Forget those formalities, we're all actors here. Putting up a good performance in the movie is more important than anything!" Yvonne said.

Feeling awkward, Hattie agreed, "You're right! I'll definitely work hard!"

Hattie felt that Yvonne didn't really like her, but she assumed that was normal since Yvonne had a high status in the film industry and probably couldn't be bothered with a newbie like her.

"I have to go, excuse me," Yvonne said as she turned and left.

There were some journalists nearby taking photos. Upon seeing Yvonne leave, they immediately followed and surrounded her.

Feeling a bit disheartened, Hattie looked at Yvonne's retreating figure, and this forlorn moment was captured by the press.

Yvonne glanced around, feeling disappointed as she couldn't find the person she wanted to see.

When she received the invitation, she called Jonathan, asking if he would be attending the event. Jonathan told her he wouldn't be there.
