Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 68

Estelle said flatly, "I don't want to know."

"Really?" Manley grinned wickedly, "I told the police they were fighting each other, but they didn't believe me. They're still looking for clues. Should I give the copied security footage to the police? Don't worry, I won't harm my own girlfriend. I'll delete the recordings with you in them and only keep the ones with the girl who went with you. What do you say? Oh, by the way, it seems that Noel's people have been trying to find the girl's dad."

Estelle frowned, stared at Manley for three seconds, and then got into the car.

Manley chuckled triumphantly, "That's more like it! You should've get on sooner."

Estelle looked at him coldly, and her eyes calmed down. She said, "I apologize for hitting you last time, and thank you for not giving the surveillance footage to the police. From now on, can we not interfere with each other?"

Manley laughed, "You hit me, I helped you, that's not exactly fair, is it?"

Estelle asked, "So, what do you want?"

Manley patted the steering wheel with his right hand and laughed, "How about this? I'm going to a cocktail party tonight, but I forgot to bring a date. You can be my date for tonight, and we'll be even for everything that happened before."

Estelle stared at him calmly, trying to figure out Manley's intentions.

Manley continued, "Are you afraid? Don't worry, you are better at fighting, so what can I do to you? Or, I can make sure Noel's men don't find the girl's dad. Is that a fair trade?"

Estelle felt that she did owe Manley a favor and wasn't afraid of any tricks he might pull. She nodded in agreement, "Fine, I'll go with you."

Estelle added, "I don't have a dress."

Manley smiled nonchalantly, "No problem. You look great just like this. Absolutely stunning!"

The party venue was not far from the Macclain family, in another villa area in N City. There were rows of garden villas, which were rarely occupied and mostly used as party venues for the rich.
