Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 688

Seeing that she didn't want to sell the cake, onlookers immediately figured out her intentions, and the gossiping grew louder.

"She's deliberately trying to rip off the poor girl, how disgusting!"

"Just look at her, she's so much worse than the one delivering the cake!"

"Picking on someone for a thousand bucks, that's just sickening! Do you think it's easy for the girl to make money?"

"Yeah, if you can't afford the cake, don't eat it!"

The woman glared at the people around her viciously, "Mind your own business, all of you!"

The man who had just been mocked by the woman sneered, "Didn't you say you'd sell as long as someone bought it? Now someone's willing to buy it, just sell the cake!"

The woman's face turned awkward, and she reluctantly took Estelle's money and left in anger.

Emily thanked the people who had defended her, and the curious onlookers slowly dispersed.

Estelle handed over the cake to Emily and asked, "Everyone's upstairs, do you want to come up?"

Emily shook her head, "I still have a few more orders to deliver, and I've been delayed for a long time. I'll give you the money for the cake later, consider it as a gift for Mr. Foster from me."

"No need!" Estelle replied, frowning, "Why are you delivering again?"

No wonder Carson called her, and she said she didn't have time.

"Better than doing nothing!" Emily said cheerfully, "I gotta go. I'll come see you when I get time."

"Alright, take care of yourself!"

"Okay!" Emily waved, put her helmet on, and walked away quickly.

From behind the railing on the second floor, Charlie watched the girl's figure with a cold expression.

He turned to go upstairs, suddenly thought of something, pulled out his phone, and called his assistant, "Check if something's wrong with Emily's family?"
