Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 79

Estelle turned her head, "Are you scared?"

Jonathan said seriously, "Of course not."

"Well, then there's nothing inappropriate about it, and horror movies help me fall asleep. I always sleep so well after watching one." Estelle sat cross-legged on the sofa, grabbed a bag of snacks, and watched with interest.

Ten minutes later, Jonathan suddenly stood up, "I just got sleepy, I'm going to bed first, you watch it yourself."

Estelle came back to reality from the movie plot and laughed quickly, "See? I told you, horror movies can help you sleep."

Jonathan stood in the dim light, his face expressionless, ignored her, and turned to walk into his bedroom.

Estelle watched the movie by herself until nearly three o'clock, then she went back to her room, brushed her teeth, lay down on the bed, and fell asleep quickly, sleeping soundly until daylight.

When she opened the door and came out, Jonathan was setting up breakfast, which was still delivered from the hotel.

Hearing the door open, Jonathan turned to see Estelle wearing a white silk nightdress, her hair smooth and scattered around her ears, her slightly chubby face looking soft and harmless, like an innocent child.

Estelle said good morning and smiled, "I thought you had already left."

Jonathan continued setting up breakfast in a light voice, "It's the weekend today, not much going on, I'll take you back with me later."

Estelle sat across from him, took a bite of French toast, and asked, "How did you sleep last night?"

Jonathan looked up and gave her a glance, nodded slightly, "Not bad."

Estelle laughed, "Then next time you can't sleep, I'll watch a horror movie with you again."

Jonathan took a sip of his freshly ground coffee and suddenly found it difficult to swallow. He looked up at her and saw her sincere smile. He didn't say anything else for a moment.

After breakfast, Jonathan drove her back to the Lamont family home.

As soon as they entered the yard, Milo, who was playing on the grass, saw Jonathan and immediately jumped up and sprang towards them.

Estelle's face changed, and she quickly moved behind Jonathan, grabbing his clothes tightly.
