Gorgeous Couple’s Sweet Love novel Chapter 118

I was shocked and stared at Teresa with extreme fear, as if she was a devil from hell that was clutching at my throat, making me suffocate.

"You don't wanna do this. You won't do this, right?" I begged.

She would not treat me like she did five years ago and let me face despair again, but thinking about it, no one could hurt me except her.

Teresa was the bane of my life.

She said faintly, "I will give you and your child a chance to live. I will let Zack and Benjamin make a choice. If Zack chooses you again, I will make whatever days you have left in this world a living hell. But if Benjamin also makes the same choice again, so be it."

Teresa was too greedy. She hoped that both men would save her!

"And who's there to save me?" I asked suddenly.

Facing the surging waves and the vicious woman in front of me, I dared not to make a single move.

Teresa replied cruelly, "You."

I felt like there was a thunderstorm in my heart, and I wanted to get out of her control, but I found that she was terribly strong.

I suddenly remembered that Victoria threw me over her shoulder easily in the past. Both she and Teresa must have received some training.

They might not be that professional, but it was enough to deal with me.

The stalemate lasted for ten minutes. I saw Benjamin in a suit from afar. His eyes were full of gloom, and Zack was standing beside him.

Behind Zack were Laurelie, Bob, and Lawrence.

Everyone had gathered together under Teresa's plan.

Teresa released my wrist and whispered in my ear, "If you dare to take a step, I'll immediately hold you and jump down."

Her threatening was plain and simple.

I was only one arm's distance away from her, so I didn't dare to act rashly. I could only look at her with pleading eyes.

Benjamin stood five meters away from us, frowning. He asked coldly, "Teresa, what are you doing?"

As soon as he finished my words, he took a step forward. Teresa suddenly grabbed my wrist and her body swayed at the cliff. I subconsciously grasped Teresa tightly and saw that her eyes were red. She said, "Don't come any closer!"

Benjamin ordered coldly, "Let her go!"

Teresa pleaded, "Let me talk to Zack."

From beginning to end, Zack was the only one in her eyes.

Zack clenched the palm hanging at his side. He looked faintly at Teresa and said gently, "Let her go, and we can talk about it."

"It's only because of her that you can talk to me in such a nervous but gentle tone. Zack..." Teresa's tears flowed down her cheeks like a waterfall. She asked in a sorrowful voice, "You said we can talk about it. Let's talk, then. Would you be with me?"

Zack frowned and looked at her faintly, but the reflection in his eyes told me that he was not looking at her, he was looking at me.

In Zack's eyes, I saw myself.

Laurelie walked up from Zack's side and pressed down on his arm. She looked at Teresa with her sharp gaze and answered, "No, even if you do push Emma down right now, he still wouldn't be with you. I dare you to push her down. Every one of us will jump down to save her. And as for you, you'll just be one more floating corpse for the ocean."

Laurelie was sick and tired of her threatening.

So she didn't care about what Teresa said she would do.

"I'm talking to Zack, who are you?" Teresa asked in confusion.

Her expression was blank and at a loss, as if she only needed an answer.

Zack sighed. "I can't lie. You know the answer."

He paused and then said nervously, "I don't want Em to be in danger, but I don't want to lie to you... You know the answer all the time."

Teresa asked in a daze, "How many years have passed? I've been waiting for you for years, but you're not willing to be with me even now?"

Zack replied, "Teresa, you shouldn't have."

"I shouldn't have? Ridiculous!" Teresa smiled, not knowing what to do. She suddenly glared at me. "Zack, if you choose her, I will spend the rest of my life making sure that she suffers the greatest pain in the world if she can walk away today."

Teresa put forth her strength, and I fell off the cliff like a kite with its string cut. At that moment, I saw the look of hesitation on Benjamin's face.

At the moment when I fell into the sea, I saw that Benjamin was the first to jump down, followed by Laurelie.

Then they all jumped into the blue sea with me, Zack, Bob, and even Lawrence.

I covered my stomach with my hands and felt a little regretful that I had not learned swimming. At the moment when I fell into the sea, how I expected that Benjamin was swimming towards me. I struggled in the sea as I thought, "Save me, Benjamin."

"Save me, Benjamin."

"Please save my child."

"Don't let my heart die."

But then I realized how ridiculous I was. How could Benjamin save me? He was swimming towards Teresa.

The sea was not calm, and huge waves rolled up layer by layer. I desperately reached out to cover my stomach and looked at the people far away from me. Laurelie bit through gritted teeth and rushed to me, but I was pushed away by the waves.

However, the place where Bob fell in was close to Teresa. They were too far away from me. Only Zack was very close to me.

Laurelie's injury still hadn't recover so the one in most danger was not me.

Seawater covered my eyes. I closed my eyes and sank into the water, trying my best to keep calm. The pain in my stomach was very strong. The child was protesting, and her desire to survive was very strong.

But I knew that the chance we were going to make it out was very small.

For her and for me alike.

For a moment, I fell into a coma.

Because the seawater was choking me, but also because of the despair.

When I woke up again, I was in a ward. Outside the window was a damp rainy, gloomy sky.

Then I seemed to recall something and immediately reached out to cover my stomach. A voice came from the side of my ear, "The child is safe."
