Agnes was confused. She didn’t know what was going on.
Laura was the first to speak, "Hammer, what on earth happened?"
Hammer, with a grave face, said, "Ms. Agnes just ventured into the off-limits area in the side building. It's a rule set by our young master, anyone who trespasses must leave the Thomas family. Mrs. Berlin, I'm truly sorry, but Ms. Agnes broke the rule and we servants are helpless."
Laura asked Agnes, "Agnes, why did you go there?"
Before Agnes could respond, the nanny chimed in with a wronged tone, "I was originally taking Ms. Agnes to choose a bed in the side building guest room, but she suddenly ran off. I searched for a while and finally found her sneaking into the secret room."
Agnes felt unable to defend herself.
It was the nanny who had vanished suddenly, how did it turn into her trespassing?
Beatrice taunted from the side, "Agnes, the third young master of the Thomas family is a renowned medical scientist, his documents and resources are priceless gems. Many people crave them. You didn't come here for those, did you?"
Laura rebuked Beatrice, "Don't talk nonsense."
Laura stood up, walking to Hammer and Agnes, "Agnes hasn't been here before, she must have wandered in by accident. Hammer, could you let her off just this once?"
Hammer, however, looked stern, "Mrs. Berlin, I'm really sorry, but there’s nothing I can do. This is the rule of the Thomas family, after all, the third young master was furious after losing important documents. You all know his standing in the master's heart, so please understand Mrs. Berlin. However, if Ms. Agnes has nowhere to go, I'm willing to help her find a suitable place."
Even though Agnes was stunned, she could tell this was a plot by Beatrice and others.
