"Mommy, why are you so wet? Did you not bring an umbrella?" Layla said heartbrokenly.

Mike pushed her upstairs. "Quickly go take a shower. You might catch a cold."

Avery headed upstairs.

"Uncle Mike, why did you let Mommy come back alone?" Layla looked at Mike reproachfully.

Hayden was glaring at Mike too.

Under the attack of the two children, Mike lifted his hands up in surrender. "Your Mommy said that she has something to do in the afternoon! She forbade me to follow her! I'll go make her some tea! She won't catch a cold if she has tea!" Mike said and escaped to the kitchen.

Avery took a shower and washed her hair. She went downstairs after drying her hair.

Mike stuffed a cup of tea in her hands.

After thanking him, she drank all the tea.

"Avery, where were you this afternoon? It's one thing if it's raining outside. Don't you know how to avoid the rain?" Mike grumbled.

Layla pursed her lips and stood up for Avery without thinking. "Mommy was already wet, why are you still nagging her!"
