That's pretty low.
Evadne gritted her teeth and said.
The Ashbourne family kids all wrapped in cotton wool by Emeric and his three wives since day one, and were given a broader, freer space to chase their dreams and realize their ideals.
Evadne once was desperate for love. For Thaddeus, she left her familiar home, put herself in danger, and even let Thaddeus trample on her noble pride time and time again, all for a laughably absurd true love.
Now, she woke up with a start. She returned to the Ashbourne Group and wanted to shoulder the responsibility of inheriting the family business. It was not just to make up for past mistakes but also to let her siblings chase their own lives without any worries.
She didn’t want the peaceful life of her family to be disturbed.
But Thaddeus was now shamelessly pushing her boundaries!
Evadne couldn't stand it.
"Low?"
Evadne's words stabbed Thaddeus's heart. A deeper red was added to his eyes.
Suddenly he stretched out his arms, trapping Evadne under his chest, his hot breath sprayed on her nose, "Evadne, you think I'm low, then come at me. Getting Gordon locked up, is this your way of getting back at me?"
Getting back at him?
Evadne was also furious, she thought this man was beyond reason!
It was him who asked Gordon to spy on her, got caught by Aaron red-handed with clear evidence. He didn't apologize to her, even blamed her.
It was incomprehensible!
"If it wasn't for you, why would your brother Aaron arrest Gordon out of the blue?"
Thaddeus narrowed his eyes, full of anger and resentment. With complex emotions stuck in his chest, he felt it hard to relieve, "Evadne, you hate me for winning once? You team up with your brothers to deal with me, deal with the Abernathy group!"
"Oh, are you jealous? My brothers spoil me and want to stand up for me. What can I do?" Evadne hooked her red lips, a smile that could kill him.
"Evadne!" Thaddeus's eyebrows jumped violently.
"You have so many sweetheart sisters. Can't I have a few good brothers? If you can't stand it, you can get back at me, let your sweetheart sisters scratch me."
She would never say such things normally.
But tonight she drank a bit, and was provoked by Thaddeus, she just let it all out.
"Sweetheart sisters? What is that?" Thaddeus was confused, still didn't understand the situation.
"Are you playing dumb? I don't want to deal with you, you old disgusting man."
Evadne mocked disgustingly, her hands pushed against the man's robust chest.
Thaddeus's long lashes flickered, a subtle ripple in his eyes.
He remembered the time when Evadne vomited all over him outside the karaoke bar, and then framed him as a pervert almost got him into the police station, making him a mess.
As soon as he got home, he took off those dirty clothes, standing in front of the mirror with his upper body naked. He was shocked to find red scratches all over his chest, like being scratched by a kitten.
It was hot and painful to touch, with some residual warmth.
Now she was touching him again, the vivid touch made his heart tremble uncontrollably in his chest, his heart had long been melted by her.
The man's eyes hid indescribable emotions, fermenting and growing wildly.
"I've said what I needed to say. Don't have people follow me from now on, or you won't just be sent to the police station!"
Evadne tried to push him away but couldn't move. She was very angry and her beautiful eyes were covered with a thin layer of mist, "Get away, don't force me to do it!"
"Evadne, you can’t leave." Thaddeus's voice was low, his chest undulating under her small hand.
"This is a police station! If you continue to act like this, I’ll call Aaron to arrest you!" Evadne's eyes were wide open, her cheeks flushed with anger.
"Even so, you can’t leave." The man's stubbornness came up again.
"Why?"
"What sister?" Thaddeus frowned, asked urgently, "I only have two sisters, Glynnis and Marilla. Do I have other sisters?"
Evadne was so angry. She really wanted to slap this jerk into the snow!
Just then, Thaddeus's pupils contracted suddenly. He turned abruptly and blocked the attack from behind with his left arm!
Several years of military life and the high-intensity training made him extremely alert, keen as a cheetah.
Evadne's eyes widened. Before she could react to what happened, Thaddeus and Aaron were already fighting, fists and feet clashing!
The surroundings were filled with the sound of cold air, making her frightened!
Thaddeus moved like lightning, his moves fierce. In this showdown between the military school top dog and the impulsive cop, Aaron was clearly at a disadvantage!
