The walking stick Margaret held was drilling into the ground, showing her anger. "Is she hurt?"
Alexander knew his limits, so he calculated each of his moves. Initially, that fight would never have hurt Heather. However, she had her pride, so she used all her killer moves to try and beat him. It was inevitable for him to respond and fight back. His moves were a little heavier than anticipated. Thus, he expected that she might get hurt.
'Did she go around complaining to people?'
It was a little out of character for someone as strong as her to do such a thing. Was this her way to get the Russells to put pressure on Alexander?
"She was so badly injured that she vomited blood!" Ralph roared. Then he turned to look at Margaret. "Mom, you didn’t see how messy her house was when I arrived. The tables were upside down, and the blood Heather vomited formed a small puddle on the floor.
“She's still recovering from her injuries now. I'm afraid she would have died if she didn't learn kickboxing! If that happened, word would spread that there’s a murderer among the Russells, and by then, our reputation would be out the window."
Saying this, he turned to meet Alexander's eyes and continued, "This brat would destroy the years we've spent building a name for our family!"
Margaret frowned when she heard how Alexander might ruin the Russell family's reputation, and her eyes instantly turned red. "Listen up, Alexander. Are you not going to apologize? I don't care about your reason or if it's just a sparring session. You've hurt your aunt, and you should go and apologize to her. Otherwise…”
She was at a loss for words. She did not know how to threaten Alexander. After all, the Russell family’s power was in his hand, and she could hardly control her grandson. However, she would not let this slide, especially when she saw how similar Alexander looked to his late mother.
It was as if Lily, the daughter-in-law she disapproved of, was making fun of her. However, Margaret's approval did not matter as Alexander was still the patriarch at the end of the day.
