"Beef…burritos…" Galen repeated it excitedly.
Lily smiled when she saw the two drooling at the thought of food and shook her head. "No, we're not having that."
Hearing this, Anastasia felt like a deflated ball. On the other hand, Galen was jumping around in Anastasia's arms. "I want to eat! I want! I want to eat!"
"You can have some beef and vegetables," Lily said.
"Really?!" Anastasia perked up after hearing what she said.
"You should eat foods with high vitamin contents and protein at night and cut carbohydrates," Lily explained. "However, you can only eat until you're 70% full."
"Okay! Even half full is fine!" Anastasia nodded impatiently. This was already good news for her. Before this, all she could eat for the entire day were either cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, or eggs. Seeing them made her want to throw up.
Now, she could eat meat and even have scones for lunch. It was pure happiness for her!
She listened to Lily's advice, chewing as much as possible with each mouthful and moving slowly. Unconsciously, her appetite shrank.
Furthermore, her anxiety about not knowing when her next meal would arrive had subsided. Because of that, she did not stuff the food into her mouth unscrupulously.
Now, she anticipated her next meal. With proper self-control over her food, she saw life in a different light.
"Lily, the scones we had this afternoon aren't like those in the market. What is it made of?" She asked curiously.
