His Secret Spoiled Wife (Lily and Alexander) novel Chapter 1349

It was evident that the little guy liked Anastasia a lot. He crawled up her body and slid down like a slide.

"Hey, you little troublemaker!" Lily stepped forward and pulled Galen away, stopping him from his climb.

"Let me go!" Two little hands fluttered in the air. It was apparent that he was unhappy. "Mommy! Mommy! Let me down!"

"You can't climb on Anastasia like that! She'll get tired!" Lily held him in her arms, nudging his nose. With a frown, she turned to look at Anastasia as if asking if she was tired.

However, Anastasia smiled and stood up. "It's okay, I'm fine!"

"Lily, he can call me Aunt Tasia. It'll be weird if he calls me by my name when I call you by yours!"

Lily smiled. "You're still so young. He should call you sis!"

"No, no. Aunt Tasia is fine!" Anastasia said, covering her face shyly.

That made Lily laugh. She hugged her son, turned around, and walked toward the sofa. After putting Galen on her lap, she squeezed his two little hands and asked Anastasia, "Do you like what I prepared for you today?"

"Of course!" Anastasia nodded repeatedly. She could not wait to follow up with praises. "Today's sauteed beef was delicious. The wrapped scone with the chili dip was amazing, and that scrambled egg, I don't think I’ve eaten anything as delicious as that since I was a child!"

She could not help but close her eyes as if she was reminiscing about the taste of the food as she talked.

The look on her face made Lily laugh even harder. "Nonsense! How can you never have anything more delicious?"

"To be honest, I did have all sorts of yummy food. The chef at home would cook whatever I liked to eat. My father didn't care as long as I ate well. Later, the longer he was away from home, the lonelier I felt. I began to eat to pass the time.

“After eating what the chef made, I would still feel dissatisfied and reach for snacks. I knew all the popular shacks by heart, and there were no stores that I hadn’t been to."

The glimmer in Anastasia’s eyes slowly dimmed as she told her story. "I was just eating without appreciating the food. All I wanted to do was to eat, and that was all. I didn't care about the taste. I couldn't taste anything."

Lily understood what she meant. Many with bulimia would go through this. Eating became mechanical. They were just simply stuffing food into their mouth, regardless of what it was, swallowing abruptly. They could no longer taste the food or enjoy eating it.

Once they finished, they would be filled with regret, causing them to purge. Some may have an emotional breakdown, causing them to binge on more food. This cycle would continue endlessly.

When Lily met Anastasia for the first time, her father had her on such a strict diet that she was on the verge of collapsing. After all, humans had their own willpower and desire to contend, so Anastasia could not keep up with the restriction.

"Are we having beef burritos tonight?" Anastasia asked enthusiastically, her eyes full of anticipation.
