When Cameron returned home to pick up his things, he saw a car parked sideways beside the gate and frowned.
Fabian exited his car and jogged over as his car drew near, flashing his signature obedient grin. “Ron, Ron…”
Although Cameron was impatient, he still lowered the car window. “What’s the matter?”
“I’m sorry for what happened to Tasia. That’s Ree’s fault, and I’ve already scolded her! I wanted her to come and apologize to Tasia, but she has been busy the past two days and couldn’t make it today. Anyway, don’t worry. I’ll teach her a harsh lesson. Is Tasia all right?” Fabian asked.
“She’s fine.” Cameron was cold to him. “Anything else?”
Since he had asked, Fabian eagerly said, “About the vaccine development center…”
“I only discuss work in my office,” he said quickly, not wanting to discuss the subject.
“I know, but I can’t go to your office either! I’ve been stopped a few times when I tried to see you there. Ron, don’t do this to me. I’m your wife’s only brother!” Bending over, Fabian looked as if he had been mistreated and tried to remind Cameron that he was family.
Cameron said coldly, casting him a look. “You still remember you’re my wife’s brother, huh? If you do, then stop creating trouble!”
“I… When have I caused trouble? I want to do something. The vaccine development center is good for the country and its people. If I do a good job, it will also look good on you. Also, didn’t you promise me…” He lowered his voice. He was mad at Cameron, but he didn't say it out loud because he was afraid it would hurt their relationship.
