His Secret Spoiled Wife (Lily and Alexander) novel Chapter 2071

Lily’s words were earth-shattering, and a strange clattering sounded from the speaker, followed by a low gasp. Lily smiled, but there was no sound after that.

There was no movement, either, as no one came to take her away. It was as if everyone had forgotten she was in that room.

Lily grew bored and paced around the room. Then she heard a faint sound on her fifth lap as if a door had opened. She instinctively turned toward the sound, but there was no movement. She knew there were other doors in the room.

Then Lily heard a wheelchair rolling on the floor. However, the wheelchair she had arrived in remained untouched. When she turned again, she saw movement behind the folding screen.

Another wheelchair slowly emerged, and on it was an older woman. The woman frowned slightly as a man pushed her wheelchair while Fred stood behind the older woman with his cane.

Lily stood rooted and quietly looked at the woman. They locked eyes for a moment and fell into a momentary silence.

Fred spoke up, “Why haven’t you respectfully greeted her?”

Lily raised her eyebrow and coldly replied, “Respect? Why should I?”

“You must show respect when you meet Her Majesty!” Fred exclaimed, surprisingly admitting it.

Lily smiled. "So, you're admitting that she’s Her Majesty?"

"Now that you know, why don't you kneel?" Fred's tone was arrogant as he pointed his cane toward the ground.

The Queen raised her hand to signal him to calm down. She had a benevolent and amiable expression, but Lily knew she concealed wicked intentions.

"Setting aside whether the person before me is the real Queen, she’s only the Queen of your country. I’m not a subject of your country, so why should I pay my respects?" Lily retorted with a disdainful snort.

"You—" Fred began to speak.

"Silence!" The Queen turned her face away, seemingly angry.

Seeing the Queen's anger, Fred stopped and stood to the side, his expression dark as he glared daggers at Lily.

"Ms. Christian," the Queen said, appearing like any ordinary old person without a hint of regality.

She was old, with wrinkled skin and a fragile appearance. However, she had a good demeanor, an aristocratic air none could ignore.
