Heather had inherited the family’s gift in martial arts. She had been trained since a young age and was good at it. Hannah, on the other hand, had a frail body. She was also timid and unfit for learning the family’s skills.
Hannah's life was considered a failure because she was born into this kind of family. Naturally, the Riggs family spent much less time nurturing her, and in fact, they did not really care much about Hannah.
Due to the fact that the Riggs family kept a very low profile, no one knew about the existence of twins in the family. After the twins came of age, Hannah was neglected. She was always controlled by her sister, Heather, and because she was timid and weak, others in the family tend to forget that they had another daughter. They only remembered and respected Heather.
Heather briefly examined Hannah before pausing to focus on her face. She could not help but feel disgusted by Hannah’s existence. Looking at Hannah’s face, she could not understand why someone who looked so much like her could be so useless.
However, Hannah was helpful in that she assisted Heather in handling irksome issues, like this business marriage proposal.
Heather was shocked that such an insignificant Hyderland family would dare to make a marriage proposal to the Riggs family. Moreover, the person they picked was a useless man from the Russell family who didn't have any real power.
Ralph was such a shameless fool. Then again, he might be useful, as he was easy to manipulate, if she were to give him what he wanted.
Nevertheless, Heather would not be so silly as to use herself in exchange for such a minor advantage. Instead, she decided to send Hannah to do her bidding. Hannah should feel honored that she was able to be useful in Heather’s plans.
“What did he say to you?” Heather asked.
When she looked at Hannah, who was still shivering and had her head down low, she could not help but feel annoyed.
“H-He said…he likes me,” Hannah replied in a small voice, then she proceeded to shake her head and corrected herself. “N-No, he said he likes you.”
‘He claimed to like her because of her character rather than any external factors. However, he doesn’t even know that I’m not Heather. Who does he actually like? Heather or me?’ Hannah wondered, her head still hanging low. ‘It’s most likely Heather, since I’m nothing like her. I’m just a useless person,’
Hannah sighed.
