“The guy who saved me is drop-dead gorgeous! I’m pretty sure everyone I know will be angry about how stunning he is.” Yasmine thought of ‘Bonnie’s’ handsome face as she spoke, thinking she was meant to be her boyfriend.
“Why would someone as handsome as him be a bad guy, boss?”
Ivor’s lips twitched as he replied, “You always lose your senses whenever you encounter good-looking guys. When will you fix that flaw of yours?”
“Everyone loves handsome men. Why would I change that about myself?” Yasmine scoffed lightly. “Also, he’s worthy of my adoration, and you’re too old-fashioned, boss. You won’t understand it.”
“You’re beyond help, Yasmine.” Ivor helplessly rubbed his temples. “I’ll post a team around your apartment for now. I want you to tend to your wound quietly. You’re not allowed to go out and cause more trouble for me.”
“Ugh, fine.” Yasmine pursed her lips, not bothering to hide her displeased expression.
Ivor stood from the couch and said, “I can tell you’re tired, so we’ll leave you to rest.”
Suddenly, Yasmine remembered something as he left. Immediately after, she called out to him, “Boss, wait!”
She hobbled over as Ivor frowned. “What is it?”
She blinked and said, “You have a wide network, right? You’re also an influential person. That said, I need you to search for my savior.”
