Chapter 295
Sydney’s words scared Flynn so much that he felt his soul was about to leave his body.
“Mom, how can you say that about Bonnie? How could she be causing trouble? She’s a good person!”
Sydney froze, and Gunnar was dumbfounded. It took them a while to come to their senses. Then Sydney looked at Flynn with eyes full of pity.
“My son, oh my, have you been tortured into madness? Has something gone wrong your brain? Bonnie has made you suffer so much, and you dare to say she’s a good person, oh my! How unlucky is my son?”
Gunnar reached out and patted Flynn’s head, thinking about finding a doctor for him.

Flynn pushed his dad’s hand away, again emphasizing, “I’m not crazy. Bonnie is a good person, and she’s extremely talented. She’s a role model for people like me.”
Hearing this, Sydney first froze for a moment, then frowned. “Flynn, let me ask you, do you think she’s beautiful? Have you fallen for her?”
Flynn’s heart skipped a beat, and he suddenly raised his voice. “How could that be?”
Sydney breathed a sigh of relief, but she heard Flynn speak again before she could fully
relax.
“How could I possibly like Bonnie? I’m not even worthy of her or one of her toes.
Sydney was completely dumbfounded this time. Yes, her son must have been stimulated by what happened before, and his brain must have gone wrong.
Just as she thought this, she noticed that Gunnar was looking at her.
It seemed that the two of them had come to the same conclusion. They would have to
find several doctors tomorrow to check on their son.
On Saturday, Bonnie agreed to go to Pyralis with Mhairi to attend the Antique Jade Appreciation Conference.
Due to some delays, she couldn’t depart with them.
As Bonnie arrived at the venue a bit later, she was stopped at the entrance.
“Sorry, no invitation, no entry. That’s the rule. Even if you’re pretty, we can’t let you in.”

The guard spoke with a disdainful and mocking glance at Bonnie.

In his eyes, Bonnie was just trying to use her looks to sneak into the event and snag a wealthy husband. He had seen this kind of thing many times before because the people invited to attend the appreciation event were all extraordinary, either from rich families. or well–known experts in the circle. Catching one of them meant a life of riches and
honor.
Bonnie frowned. “Do you know how rude you sound? This isn’t something a mere guard should say.”
“Hmph!” The guard sneered, “I’m just a guard, so what? I’m still better than you, a nobody.”
