Chapter 296
Bonnie’s attitude frightened the security guard so much that his soul almost fled his body.
This woman could make the arrogant and overbearing master of the Knight family respect her. The guard wondered who he offended.
The more he thought about it, the more scared the guard became, trembling all over,
The more he thought about it, the more scared the guard became. He deeply bowed to Bonnie. “I’m sorry! I was blind and incompetent. Please, Miss, have mercy on me.
“Who do you think you are, daring to beg Ms. Bonnie for mercy? You lowly creature!” Flynn kicked the guard over and turned to Bonnie. “Ms. Bonnie, how do you want to
handle him? Should I take care of him?”
Outside the door, the guard was scared, pale, and trembling.
Bonnie rolled her eyes. “You’re as arrogant and domineering as ever, treating human life so lightly. He’s just incompetent at his job. You can dismiss him if you want, but to take his life over a few words? Is this how you used to threaten people’s lives over trivial matters casually?”
Flynn was afraid Bonnie misunderstood him, so he hurriedly explained.
“No, no, no! How could I? How could I do such unreasonable things? Although I used to be arrogant and spoiled, my upbringing was strict. I wouldn’t go so far as to harm someone’s life. As for the last time between you and me, I never intended to hurt anyone. I just got angry and deliberately arrested your brother to scare you.
Bonnie didn’t think Flynn was lying. Of course, she didn’t trust him either. Sigmund taught her this.
“Let’s go in.”
Avril’s family was still waiting inside.
“All right, all right, I’ll follow your lead,” Flynn said, gesturing to Bonnie as they walked together into the venue, him trailing behind her like a follower.
The guard sat on the ground, vowing never to look down on anyone again.
Accompanying Flynn was an older man. Bonnie noticed that the older man always had a haughty look, with his hands behind his back and a gaze resembling a sage.

“Flynn, who is she? Why do you show such respect for her?” the old man asked curiously.
“She…” Flynn looked toward Bonnic, who gave him a warning look that dared him to try and say anything..
Flynn understood Bonnie’s dangerous gaze and subconsciously gulped.
“She’s a friend of mine.”
“Oh,” Jesper responded indifferently, evidently losing interest in Bonnie because of Flynn’s answer.
“Bonnie! You finally made it!” Avril saw Bonnie and quickly ran over.
