After what happened last night, Xavier had the best sleep ever.
When he woke up, he felt much better, but he was not in a hurry to get up. He lay on the bed, turned his head to look at the sky out of the window, and smiled. Then he turned to look at Zena who was fiddling with flowers with her back to him, and his eyes were much gentler.
"Oh, are you awake?" Zena finished arranging the flowers and turned around, but she didn't expect that Xavier had woken up. She was stunned at first, and then asked apologetically, "Did I wake you up?"
Xavier shook his head gently and said with a smiling face, "No." The rustle was very light.
Zena walked over. Her long white dress bounced as she walked, looking light and graceful, "Are you hungry? I cooked porridge for you."
She received the phone call from James in the small hours and knew that Xavier was ill. Fortunately, the hotel room was home-style and had everything. She made porridge for him in a hurry before coming here.
"No."
"Do you want to drink some water?"
"Alright."
Zena poured him some water and checked the temperature of the water before she put it down. Then she raised the bed for him, "Come on. Drink slowly." Saying this, she reached out to touch his forehead and then touch her own. Then she said, "Well, your body temperature is normal now. When I came here, you were sleeping, so I didn't wake you up. At that time, your body was a little hot."
Xavier handed the cup to her, "I am all right now, aren't I?"
"Why did you go to the mountain at that time? Why didn't you call me and tell me? I was so anxious when I couldn't get through to you."
"I just wanted to see him all of a sudden. After all... it has been so many years."
Hearing his plain voice, Zena's eyes darkened. After a while, she asked tentatively, "Did you... see uncle?"
"Yes."
"What... did he say?"
Xavier chuckled, "Nothing." He paused, and smiled more brightly, "I won't go there again in the future."
Zena had known him for so many years, and she knew the situation in his family. Hearing what he said, she only felt sad in her heart. She stared at him for a while, sat at the edge of the bed, and reached out to hold his hand which was on the quilt gently, "Well, that's good."
Xavier looked down at her soft hands and did not speak.
"You still have me. Xavier, I will always be with you."
Xavier raised his head and looked at Zena who was sincere, "I know, you haven't given up on me all these years. But... Zena, how long can you be with me?"
Zena was stunned and said in a hurry, "Why do you say this? I'll stay by your side until the day we die."
Xavier smiled gently, "But you still have Jimmy in your heart, don't you?"
