"Why do you look so sad today, Elizabeth?" Evelyn Wu asked with concern after she finished answering a phone call and looked at Elizabeth Liang's gloomy face.

Elizabeth smiled faintly and said, "It's nothing. Maybe I didn't sleep well last night."

"Are you sure?" Evelyn carefully examined her for a while. The bags under her eyes were dark and heavy, which seemed to confirm that she had a bad night's sleep.

"Yeah.”

"I don't believe you!" Evelyn shook her head and disagreed. "This is more than just not getting a good sleep!"

"Did you have a quarrel with your husband?"

Elizabeth was lost for words. She forced a smile and complained, "It's really a pity that you're not a psychic, Evelyn."

"Haha, I was right!" Evelyn then asked Elizabeth curiously, "Tell me, what happened?"

"It's really no big deal." Elizabeth was still feeling depressed. Just thinking about his expression and attitude yesterday, she would be upset, so she didn't want to say anything.

Evelyn grinned apologetically. "Sorry, I was just amazed by how strong and mighty your husband is." Then she nudged Elizabeth with her elbow. "He massaged your foot? Dude... that's so romantic. I have goosebumps all over me."

Elizabeth gestured in the air, "I want to open your head and see what the hell you have in it."

"Hmph!" Evelyn took Elizabeth's hand and stopped joking. "You know what they say, no-one should be a judge in their own case. James Lu might've been a bit too mean this time, but I can understand him."

"Understand him?" Elizabeth curled her lips and said, "Just because he's good-looking, carried me, and rubbed my foot?"

Evelyn protested, "Do you think I'm that shallow? Didn't you say by yourself that James Lu didn't scold you at all even though you lost miserably to your disgusting cousin yesterday?"
