When Elizabeth woke up, it was already eleven o'clock in the morning on the next day.
"Oh, my god!" She slapped her forehead with depression, "Am I a pig?"
Uh...she really slept for a long time! She didn't even know when James left and slept soundly until this time.
When she was asleep, James was afraid of disturbing her, so he only sent a few messages to ask her if she had felt better and let her reply to him after she woke up.
She put her hand on her belly for a few seconds. After confirming that her belly did not hurt anymore, she sent a message to James quickly, lifted the quilt and got out of bed. Then she rushed to the bathroom to wash up and went downstairs.
"Elizabeth, are you awake?" Lydia was standing in front of two clothing shelves and picking up clothes. As soon as she saw Elizabeth, she went forward in a hurry, "Did you sleep well?"
Elizabeth scratched her hair in embarrassment and said with a dry smile, "I'm sorry, mom. Well... I overslept unconsciously." If she woke up late in South Lake, it didn't matter, but she was in Lu Mansion...
"It's okay!" Lydia waved her hand with a casual smile, "It's good that you can rest well. Just make yourself at home. This is also your home, right? Do whatever you want. Don't restrain yourself."
"Okay."
"Alright, don't be so embarrassed!" As Lydia said this, she took Elizabeth's hand and walked to the shelves, "Come and have a look. Your husband asked someone to deliver these clothes home. I had a look just now. These new fashion designs are all very beautiful."
Looking at those clothes with different colors, Elizabeth felt warm in her heart.
Last time, James asked someone to send so many clothes to South Lake, and he bought lots of clothes for her again. However, she herself had never bought so many clothes at one time. She could not even buy so many clothes in a year.
Lydia sighed, "Alas! Your husband is so considerate. He bought you so many clothes at once." As she said so, she shouted in the living's direction room, "But I am not as lucky as you. I want to buy some latest clothes, but
I have to choose on my own. No one can accompany me."
Hearing this, Elizabeth immediately understood the meaning of her words. She pursed her lips and lowered her head slightly, thinking that she'd better not to speak for the time-being.
However, John came out. He stared at Lydia, and then looked at the clothes and said with a frown, "Don't you always ask the sales to send your clothes home personally?" Even if she said that she wanted to go shopping sometimes, it was just because she wanted to go out to kill time. Why did she say that he didn't want to accompany her?
Lydia snorted, "Anyway, it's your fault."
John raised his eyebrows and looked at Lydia with amusement. He asked in a doting and helpless tone, "So what do you want? Shall we go shopping now?"
"No!" Lydia puckered her mouth, "Even if you go out with me now, it is because you're forced to do so! Humph!"
John nodded. Saying nothing, he turned around and went to the living room again.
Originally, Lydia just wanted him to coax her more, but she did not expect him to leave like this!
She was so pissed off!
Elizabeth was still here. How awkward she was!
