James drove the car very fast.
As long as he could overtake on the way, he stepped on the gas pedal. The car was like a swimming dragon, rushing forward in the traffic.
He grabbed the steering wheel more and more tightly, but his hands kept trembling.
He was happy, excited, and somewhat nervous. All these emotions were stimulating him.
It would take about an hour to arrive at the appointed place at a peak time, but James arrived there half an hour later.
"Jimmy!" As soon as Richard saw James get off the car, he took two steps forward and spat out the weed in his mouth.
"Mm." James closed the car door, "Thank you so much."
"This is what I should do." After that, Richard laughed, "You came here so fast that no one would believe that you are not a racing-driver."
"I am just in a hurry."
"Don't worry. He won't be able to escape."
James nodded and stared at the front, "Where is he?" "In the warehouse over there. Come on. I'll take you there."
Following Richard, James made a fast pace. After walking on two small paths, they finally stopped in front of an abandoned warehouse.
Richard lifted his chin, "Here we are."
James took a deep breath, "Okay."
A cloud of dust rose as Richard pushed the door open, but James didn't frown and looked into the warehouse with sharp eyes.
This warehouse was truly old, and even the doors were covered in rust. Meanwhile, it was very shabby inside. The vents were stuffed with many things, and the light inside was dim. There were
many spider webs on the walls.
As soon as the door was opened, the light outside immediately lit up the dark warehouse.
James and Richard strode in side by side.
The man was tied to an old chair. At this time, his head was lowered, and James didn't know if he had fainted. Beside him stood two tall men who were Richard's subordinates.
James stood in front of the man. There was no joy or anger on his face, but he was a maelstrom of churning emotions inside. His hands hanging at his side were clenched into fists.
It had been nine years...
Nine years!
Since this man and his accomplices did that thing nine years ago, Xavier's life had been changed, and he had lived in guilt for a long time!
Xavier almost went crazy. What about him? In the first few years, he couldn't sleep well, and the guilt in his heart made him wake up with a start from time to time. He always dreamt of Xavier. In his dream, Xavier looked at him with hatred and resentment, asking him why he did that to him.
He had become a sinner, but it was impossible for him to prove his innocence.
At that time, he tried to look for those people, but he couldn't find them. Later, he had to give up.
At this time, Xavier had come back. If it weren't for what had happened that night, he might not have looked forthose people again. After so many years, how could it be easy for him to find them again?
Fortunately, he finally found this man.
"What's wrong?" Richard asked the man standing aside, "Is he pretending to be in a coma?"
