Impulsive Vow to an Enigmatic Husband novel Chapter 632

In a marriage, both parties were equal. But because she was his subordinate first, she unknowingly put herself in a lower position.

Maybe it was Cornelia's gaze that got him. Marcus turned around and naturally made eye contact with her sneaky eyes. They looked at each other. But it only lasted for two seconds before Cornelia shyly looked away.

She was sneaking glances at him, and that meant she felt something for him. This discovery made Marcus happy. When he was happy, his aura naturally came back. Even though no one was talking, the vibe in the elevator became much more pleasant.

Ben felt like he should lighten the mood a bit more, "Cornelia, did you go anywhere on your vacation?"

Cornelia shook her head.

Unaware of his own awkwardness, Ben kept on talking, "Why didn't you ask me if I went out?"

Cornelia asked, "Did you go out then?"

Ben said, "I did. Joined a hiking club, went to the northwest with a bunch of people. We walked through the grand canyon and apricot blossom valley. I was lucky enough to see the beautiful bloom in the valley and the blue ice Lake."

"You went to the lake to see the blue ice?" Cornelia was interested as soon as she heard that, "My two friends and I have been wanting to go there, but we haven’t had the chance. We had time during summer vacation in college but no money, so we were busy working. Now that we’re working, we have the money to travel, but no time.”

Ben said, "You should go when you have the time, they say the lake is even more beautiful in the summer."
