After finishing up in the bathroom, Cornelia saw Patricia had already set up a dining table next to her grandma's sick bed, loaded with all sorts of food.
There was a wide variety of foods, including light dishes suitable for the sick, and some spicy dishes that Cornelia loved. Just by looking at these foods, you could tell Patricia put a lot of thought into it. She really treated Cornelia and her grandma like her own family. Especially towards Cornelia, Patricia was even nicer to her than her own daughter. It was as if only by giving her the best things in the world could she fulfill her wish.
The night before, Granny Luisa had prepared many gifts for Cornelia, and Patricia also had gifts for her; only they were at the Celestial Chateau mansion and could only be seen when Cornelia returned.
Patricia first served Granny Rebecca a bowl of soup, reminding her, "Granny Rebecca, the soup is still a bit hot. Wait a couple of minutes before drinking it. Don't burn yourself."
"Okay." Granny Rebecca glanced at Patricia, "Thank you for taking care of Nelly this past year."
Patricia felt very guilty after hearing this, "Granny, in fact, I only found out a few months ago that Nelly is Marcus’ wife. And she seldom stays at Celestial Chateau. I hardly get a chance to care for her."
Granny Rebecca comforted her, "It's the thought that counts."
Patricia immediately responded, "Granny Rebecca, don't worry, I'll take good care of Nelly. I'll also help her take care of her children in the future."
Like the two grannies, Patricia also hoped that Cornelia could have a child soon, so the house would be a lot livelier, not just a place to live.
Hearing this, Granny Rebecca was very pleased, "With you helping out, I can rest easy."
Granny Luisa chirped in, "I can take care of the baby, you don't need to worry."
Patricia replied, "Then let's have twins, we can each take care of one."
Granny Luisa added, "Rebecca will definitely want to help as well. If only Nelly could have triplets, that would be great. We could each raise one, and the house would certainly be lively."
Granny Rebecca still worried about her granddaughter, "Let's forget about triplets, Nelly is so frail, having three babies would be too hard."
