"Help me." The little boy cleverly pleaded to Cornelia.
Cornelia patted the little boy's head, "He's a good guy. You don't have to be scared of him. Because I'm not strong enough to carry you, he's helping me out. You might not know this, but he's a real stickler for cleanliness, he wouldn't just hold anyone. The fact that he's holding you, that's pretty darn lucky."
The little boy blinked, not quite understanding, but he stopped struggling.
Cornelia asked again, "Has he done anything to hurt you?"
The little boy shook his head.
Cornelia said, "Then why are you scared of him?"
The boy turned his head and looked at Marcus up close. Seeing him this close, he didn't seem that scary anymore.
Cornelia chuckled, "Do you think he's not only not scary, but also kinda handsome?"
The little boy obediently nodded.
Cornelia pinched the little boy's cheek, "Good boy!"
The little boy asked, "Will he bully you?"
