Henry had finally pieced it all together. That fateful night by the ocean, when Sarah had manipulated him and Olivia into a deep-seated hatred that spanned three years, resulting in their children being born prematurely and sickly, was unforgivable.
“Oh. Haha…”
Sarah, realizing her schemes were fully exposed and there was no turning back, knew that no matter how much she tried to explain, Henry wouldn’t believe a single word. Out of options and at the end of her rope, she let out a bitter laugh, “Yes, it was all me, meddling. Because Henry, you were supposed to be mine. I've wasted so many years on you; why should I have to watch her take you away from me! I've endured what others couldn't, strategized every move, all to get you to look my way, to get you to marry me! Only through obligation would you be devoted to me, but why... why have I ended up in this situation? Haha... I love you, but you, Henry... you've never loved me, I've always known. You're only fixated on that wretch, so, I won't let Olivia have an easy life either. If I can't have my peace, neither will you!”
“Ah—”
Olivia, fueled by rage, grabbed the twisted woman in front of her, venomously saying, “So what did you do to Sammy?”
Caught off guard and feeling a twinge of guilt, Sarah, upon seeing the despair on Olivia's face, smirked and taunted, “Oh, can't find your child?”
“Did you hide him? Give him back!” Olivia screamed, gripping her by the neck.
As Sarah was about to revel in her moment of supposed triumph, Henry stepped in, pulling Olivia away. Towering over Sarah, his imposing presence enveloped her.
“You have one minute to tell us where Sammy is.”
Facing Henry’s grim stare, Sarah felt a shiver down her spine. But she was clueless about Sammy's actual whereabouts, whether he was dead or alive. Under immense pressure, Sarah barely held herself together.
Losing his patience, Henry called for his security, “Take Sarah to the operating room.”
“Henry?” Sarah was struck by a sudden, overwhelming fear.
With a cold, merciless tone, Henry declared, “Sarah, you owe my mother a kidney. It’s time to pay up.”
“No…” Terror filled Sarah’s eyes as she screamed, “Henry, you can’t just take a kidney, it’s illegal, you can’t do this to me!”
But Henry, from his high ground, looked down with icy disdain, “For harming my mother and my child, not killing you is already my mercy. The pain my mother went through, you will now experience.”
Desperate and defeated, Sarah was dragged to the operating room, fainting from fear.
Olivia, horrified, watched Henry. Standing outside the operating room, smoking, Henry’s silent, dark profile spoke volumes.
The kidney removal was quick; less than two hours later, Sarah, now missing a kidney, was brought out, trembling with fear. Henry, once again, calmly demanded, “Now, will you tell us where Sammy is?”
Realizing the severity of Henry’s threat and that she was left with only one kidney to bargain with her life, Sarah understood the anonymous message she received: "You still have a chance."
Clutching her side, she glared at Henry and Olivia with weak, hateful eyes, her voice dripping with malice, “Who knows where he is? Dead or alive, missing limbs? I really don’t know. Curious? Well, I’m not telling.”
Olivia, her eyes brimming with hatred, looked as though she wanted to crush Sarah if not for her lying on the operation bed.
Henry clenched his fist, his eyes narrowing dangerously, “Do you want to lose the other kidney?”
