Ludwik narrowed his frosty eyes, glancing over her cocktail dress and stilettos before striking a fierce blow to the back of her neck.
She collapsed, and with practiced ease, he gently lifted her into his arms.
Keegan watched in horror, witnessing Ludwik's descent into madness. Shaking with rage and coughing up blood, he bellowed, "Ludwik! Enough is enough. Do you see how many journalists are here? They've captured every move you've made. Aren't you afraid of your family back in Emperor City finding out?
Sure, you're tough, and you can take Whitney away, but have you thought about your reputation as the top bachelor of Harmonia Country?
Whitney is a married woman! Your reckless disregard for the law will ruin your future, and the Lippert family will be despised worldwide!"
Tiana chimed in, "Ludwik, come to your senses. Whitney is no longer yours!"
She pleaded desperately, "Can you just let her go? Whitney isn't an object; she's a living person with the right to choose and to end love. Can't you accept her decision?
Mr. Doonan said he's already seen the news about you in Emperor City. Imagine what your father, grandmother, and mother would think?"
Ludwik was unmoved, his expression steely as he declared, "No one can stop me today.
Anyone who tries, dies."
Holding Whitney as if she were a precious treasure, he uttered these terrifying words with a surprisingly tender tone.
"I won't let you get away with this! Give me back my wife!"
Bryce's face turned beet red as he yelled, but he was pinned to the ground by Ashton's men, unable to move.
Ludwik glanced back at him, calmly instructing his bodyguards, "Since Mr. Lutz is so unwilling, tie up his parents and bring them to my plane."
"Ludwik, you dare! You'll pay for this!" Bryce screamed, his face a portrait of fury.
His fingers dug into his palms, wondering how, even now, he was still beneath Ludwik's boot.
As Bryce's parents were quickly subdued by the bodyguards and forced to follow Ludwik, Bryce felt utterly powerless.
Ludwik passed by the stunned guests, coldly warning the Lutz family, "You better keep today's events to yourselves.
Anyone who calls the police will find the Lutz family without a place in Banyan City.
The newly risen Lutz Group in Emperor City? Ha, I wouldn't mind wiping it off the map!"
The crowd shivered in fear.
"Daddy!" At the safety exit, Danny's face was streaked with tears as he called out loudly.
Ludwik, holding Whitney and with red, dazed eyes, looked at his son. He restrained the madness in his blood and spoke softly to Danny, "Daddy has to take Mommy away.
Danny, go back to Emperor City with Tiana.
Find Mr. Doonan and Grandma; they'll take you to see Sammy.
I can't take you with me right now, I'm sorry."
"Sammy?! Sammy really got out?" Danny's lips trembled with excitement.
Ludwik pushed his son towards a bodyguard and strode away with Whitney, disappearing outside the banquet hall and boarding a plane.
The bodyguards then returned Bryce's parents to the hall, which was left in chaos, the wedding turned into a silent mockery.
Ashton left with Valerie and the bodyguards.
Tiana, trying to calm her nerves, realized she couldn't stop Ludwik from taking Whitney. Holding her daughter and Danny close, she whispered in despair, "Danny, your dad is a madman. I never imagined he'd go this far, snatching someone's legally wedded wife!
And we don't even know where he's taking Whitney. Will they return to Emperor City?
We should head back to Emperor City too. Mr. Doonan said your dad's actions have hit the news; there's a storm brewing. The Lippert family might be in big trouble.
