Chapter 161 The Traitor
The driver didn't dare to listen to Anastasia. He just glanced at Christian through the rearview mirror.
Christian didn't say anything. It was clear he disagreed.
In the next second, Anastasia unlocked the car door.
Christian forcefully grabbed Anastasia's wrist instantly and said fiercely,
"Are you going to kill yourself?"
Anastasia shook off his hand and said icily,
"Stop the car!"
This time the driver stopped.
Anastasia directly opened the door and got out of the car. Even if she had to walk home, she didn't want to breathe the same air as Christian.
She felt suffocated.
Christian took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down quickly.
He realized that his reaction just now must have hurt Anastasia.
He only felt it couldn't be advantageous for Beatrice when Anastasia asked so many questions.
Watching Anastasia turn and walk away, he opened the car door and got out.
The driver hesitated for a moment and then seized the opportunity to inform Beatrice.
However, as the message was just sent, Christian suddenly turned back.
He opened the driver's door with a bounce, grabbed the phone from his hand before the driver could react, quickly read it, and then grabbed the driver's collar, pulling him out.
Christian fiercely threw the phone on the ground, shattering it into pieces.
Then he kicked the driver. His eyes focused on the driver were as chill as ice.
"You traitor. How much benefit does Beatrice give you, huh?"
Christian seemed to vent all the suppressed anger from before onto the driver.
No wonder Beatrice just so happened to call him every time he met with Anastasia.
It turned out that she bribed his driver!
