Chapter 88 Excuse
Christian was shocked and didn't quite believe it.
Anastasia soon calmed herself down. Judging from Christian's reaction just now, he probably doubted her people.
She said indifferently, "If it was one of us, we wouldn't chase that woman, would we?"
Christian glanced at Anastasia with mixed feelings.
The veins on his arms tightened. He turned around and went to Beatrice's ward.
Beatrice was drinking water with lingering fear when she heard the door being slammed open.
She was startled.
"Christian?"
There was a bit of nervousness in her surprised expression.
Christian threw the dagger on the table and asked with a harsh tone, "Did you do it?"
"What, what did I do?"
Beatrice quickly suppressed her nervousness and stood there with an innocent look.
Christian's face darkened. His voice was cold.
"You washed away the fingerprints with alcohol. There is a surveillance camera in that ward. Don't you admit it?"
Beatrice's face turned pale. At last, she said with a calm voice, "I admit it. I did it. I heard from the nurse that it would be cleaner to sterilize it with alcohol. The dagger was dirty. I just wanted to help Ms. Graves clean it."
Christian's face darkened. His voice was cold and harsh.
"Who asked you to do it? Why did you meddle in something that didn't concern you? Do you have anything to do with that murderer?"
He got closer and closer to Beatrice. His eyes were cold, and his aura was oppressing.
Beatrice's face turned pale with fright. She stood there blankly, tears streaming down her face.
"Murderer? I just wanted to help..."
Charlie, who had just been coaxed, started crying again. Beatrice immediately ran over, hugged him, and began to cry.
