They arrived at the hotel.
Kevin and Lisa sent Anastasia to the door of the room.
"Ms. Graves, you are injured now. Maybe you should go home and rest first. Mr. Derek Graves is worried about you."
Anastasia smiled and glanced at her arm.
"Tomorrow's meeting is very important. I'll leave the day after tomorrow, and you stay for the two days after that."
Originally, Derek wanted to bring her back immediately, but she was able to convince him to let her stay for an extra day after spending quite a lot of effort.
The itinerary that was originally planned could not be messed up halfway.
Kevin responded, "I'll have your dinner delivered to your room later."
"Okay."
Anastasia did not refuse. After all that ups and downs, she was really hungry.
Lisa happily went to buy a lot of local snacks and came back. Anastasia tasted some after taking a bath.
When she was about to go to sleep, she saw a message from Jaxon.
[See you tomorrow.]
He had always been a man of few words. This meant that he was here too.
Anastasia did not reply. She put away the phone and got ready to sleep.
On the next day, during the meeting, Anastasia covered up the injury on her arm by wearing a neat coat.
She sat in the front row. As the only woman in the front row, she naturally attracted a lot of attention.
Christian was sitting on her right side, probably a seat specially arranged by him.
In the venue, Christian looked at Anastasia's delicate and bright face from the side. He could not put his emotions into words, but his heart just kept on softening.
In the rather solemn venue, everyone could only hear the speeches of the people on the stage.
However, Christian's mind was elsewhere. He kept on wanting to turn his head to look at the woman next to him.
Anastasia did not even blink and turned a blind eye to his gaze. She just stared at the people on the stage and smiled.
They all had a cup of water beside them, and Anastasia did not touch it.
After a while, Christian ordered a few words to the assistant behind him, and the assistant quickly brought a cup of coffee over.
