The Maybach drove into the underground garage. Matthew opened the car door and retrieved Helen's luggage from the trunk.

"Mom, this way."

Directly above the underground garage was Matthew's villa, with a door providing easy access.

After bringing Helen's luggage inside and setting it aside, Matthew noticed the empty plate on the table and smiled.

"Mom, you sit down. I'll clean up the table."

He grabbed the plate from the table and put it into the dishwasher in the kitchen before heading up to Sasha's room on the second floor. He knocked on the door but received no response, so he knocked again and heard a faint giggle, which made him smile.

"Is our little Sasha still asleep? Well, I guess I'll just have to eat the delicious treats I got her myself," he called out dramatically outside Sasha's door, and sure enough, there was some noise from inside, followed by something hitting the floor.

He exaggeratedly called out at Sasha's door. Sure enough, there was a commotion inside, and it sounded like something had fallen to the floor.

The door swung open, and Sasha rushed out, crashing into Matthew, who had been standing in the doorway.

She looked up at Matthew, who exuded a strong masculine presence, and quickly realized she'd been duped again.

Seeing Sasha's cheeks flush with color, Matthew burst into laughter.

"Matthew, you big jerk!" She bit down hard on his wrist and glared at him.
