Man With Super Medical Skill novel Chapter 3406

Matthew's calm tone carried an unmistakable authority, radiating a powerful presence that seemed to grow larger in Stellan's eyes. The intensity in the air increased, causing a faint sheen of sweat to appear on Stellan's forehead. It reminded him of the time in his younger days when he had first met a certain high-ranking official from Cathay. Though the man had been polite, the pressure had been overwhelming.

"Understood, sir," Stellan nodded, abandoning any further attempts to dissuade Matthew. With the kind of strength Matthew possessed now, it seemed unlikely that anything would truly go wrong.

Matthew nodded back and turned to leave, his mind briefly considering someone else, though he hadn't made a final decision yet.

Stellan picked up a sheet of paper from the table and wiped the sweat from his forehead, sighing. "The Summit Warden is truly a phenomenon… In a couple more years, the grandmasters of the world…" He trailed off, shaking his head with a chuckle. He hadn't even met other grandmasters, so for all he knew, Matthew was already among the top few.

Gazing at the phone on his desk, Stellan hesitated for a moment before finally picking it up. He tapped a few keys, and the line began to ring. He waited quietly for the call to connect.

"This is Blake Carr speaking," answered a steady voice as soon as the call went through.

"Elder Carr, Stellan Warrington, president of the Hulwin Martial League in Seraphis, greets you."

There was a slight pause on the other end before Blake's hearty laughter echoed through the line. "Ah, Stellan from Hulwin. You've never called me before."

Blake did have some impression of Stellan. With so many presidents across the Seraphis province, half of them seemed to be calling him daily to voice their grievances. But Stellan had never reached out, making him stand out in Blake's memory.

"Yes, it's me, Great Elder. Today, the Summit Warden informed me that he intends to head to the West Montiria Islands. I have concerns about the safety there, so I thought it would be best to inform you."

"Oh?" Blake sounded a bit surprised before chuckling. "There's no need to worry. Matthew is the most outstanding talent of this generation in the Martial League. Just do your best to support him."

"Yes, sir," Stellan replied respectfully, waiting for Blake to hang up. But the busy signal didn't come; instead, Blake's voice spoke again, hitting Stellan right in the heart.

"Stellan, I know about the situation in Hulwin. It was the Martial League's delay in sending support that caused you hardship."

Blake's words made Stellan's body tense. Then, he smiled and said, "Great Elder, it's no hardship at all. As long as I can contribute to the Martial League, it's all worth it."

"Good man, you're a credit to the Martial League. If anything comes up, reach out to me directly, and I'll give you my full support."

After ending the call, Stellan stared at the ceiling. For the first time in decades, he felt reassured that his lifelong dedication had been the right choice.

After a long moment, he suddenly sprang to his feet. "Prepare a ship!"

Matthew's journey to the West Montiria Islands would certainly require a special means of access, and as someone who had a knack for gathering information, Stellan happened to know the code needed to get onto the islands.

Thirty miles outside Hulwin, at a secluded dock, Stellan stood by the waterfront, speaking with Matthew. "Mr. Summit Warden, this is your token for entering the island. When you approach the shore, a boat will appear, and someone will ask where you're coming from. You simply need to answer, 'I've returned from hell.' The islands are full of ruthless characters, so at crucial moments, you must be even tougher than they are. Otherwise, they'll easily become suspicious."
