Man With Super Medical Skill novel Chapter 3454

Casimir started to speak up from behind the Medusa Emissary, but the emissary cut him off, gesturing for Casimir to handle the woman himself.

"Mr. Casimir, looks like you've done well for yourself," the woman remarked, fixing her gaze on him.

Her words stunned everyone around them. The way she addresses Casimir… Are they somehow connected?

Casimir's eyes flickered with surprise at her address. Had she not seen him kill her father with his own hands back then? But he quickly masked his reaction, putting on a sympathetic smile.

"You're too kind, Miss Allyson," he replied smoothly. "How could I be worthy of such respect from you? When the old governor passed, my heart broke—I fainted on the spot. When I woke up, I was told you had disappeared. I organized a three-day search across the island, but there was no trace of you. I've carried endless guilt in my heart ever since. It's a miracle you're still alive, Allyson. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to face your father in the afterlife."

Casimir's performance was flawless, his face etched with grief and relief.

"Allyson Ashcroft… I'd heard the old governor had a daughter late in life, but her real name was never widely known. She was simply called Miss Allyson," Mack murmured to Matthew, recalling what he'd heard.

Allyson's expression remained unreadable as she listened to Casimir's words. She turned her gaze to the Medusa Emissary, her eyes sharp. "I'd like to ask this emissary of the Medusa Gang to do me a favor. Let's consider this matter resolved here and now. How about it?"

The Medusa Emissary exchanged a glance with Casimir. Both knew this wasn't the ideal time to press forward. If Allyson's forces decided to support the Veiled Assembly, the outcome would be unpredictable.

"Fine, since the daughter of the former governor has spoken, I'll honor you—and the memory of your late father—with this favor. But this ends today. If anyone dares cross the Medusa Gang again, I'll make sure they know fear," the Medusa Emissary said, nodding while leaving a few final threats. He turned to leave, Casimir ready to follow.

But just then, Matthew spoke up, his voice plain. "I already said—you deserve death, and so do your followers. No one's leaving today, especially not you."

Allyson's composed expression instantly shattered as she whipped around to Matthew. "Are you out of your mind?!"

She had spent a full decade in hiding on this island, gathering the forces she now commanded. Even with her current strength, she wasn't confident she could reclaim control of the entire island. Just moments ago, she'd considered recruiting Matthew and Mack, impressed by their skills and hoping they could help her avenge her father. But she hadn't expected Matthew to be this reckless. Does he think the Medusa Emissary is here for a casual visit?

The Medusa Emissary, who had been on the verge of leaving, turned back, his face twisting with fury. Behind his mask, veins bulged in anger as he barked, "You're just a cocky little pretty boy with a dash of talent, and you think you can stand in my way? You'd better head back to your momma's basement for another century or two of training before you even dream of keeping me here! Falkrenn, get your people ready. I'm taking this arrogant f*cker down today—let's show him what happens to wannabe heroes who bite off more than they can chew!"

Allyson's face paled in response, and she called out urgently, "All units, prepare for battle! Defend the Veiled Assembly!"
