"Remington, your aunt did come to me years ago asking about your mother's whereabouts. I truly didn't know about it, and she left. Later, I heard about her leaving the country and even checked her flight information to confirm it," Samuel explained anxiously.

"If that's the case, then why was my aunt found in the abandoned building? Would Carlos dare to do such a thing without your permission?" questioned Remington.

Suddenly, Samuel turned to Renee and without hesitation, slapped her across the face.

"It's all your fault! Did you ask Carlos to do that? What nasty things did you still do with Carlos? Tell me honestly!"

Renee's mouth bled after the strike, but she laughed out loud, "I won't tell you even if you kill me. If you have the guts, go ahead and put me to death!"

Remington looked at these people in front of him with cold eyes and would like to see how long they could keep up the act.

"Remington, calm down!" Samuel wanted to persuade him to calm down, but Remington swung his fist at Samuel's face.
