Married by Accident, Taming the Billionaire novel Chapter 175

Chapter 175 Her Comment Drives Remington Crazy

When the guards arrived, Garvin Banks demanded them, "Get the woman out of my sight!"

Guards circled Cecelia, who swept over the faces of Garvin Banks and Camelia Shawn with her cold eyes and said, "I don't want to ruin my appetite for dinner."

She was implying that she didn't unleash all her strength for the time being.

Camelia Shawn clamored, "Don't say my line! I don't want my appetite ruined by you! Read the vibe carefully and get the hell out of here before the guards get rid of you. Or, it'll be a mess!"

"Camelia Shawn, you have a close link with Mr. Garvin Banks, and I happen to have a close link with Mr. Whisker Banks of Banks Corp. Do I need to call and ask him who's in charge of this restaurant?"

Cecelia brought up Garvin's father, but that didn't hold him off.

Camelia Shawn fanned the flames by saying, "Garvin, ignore her threat! This floozy is great at hooking men, and she must have cajoled your father. She's probably planning to be your stepmother. Keep your eyes sharp and don't spare the bitch this time!

"Her? To be my stepmother? Huh!"

He could put up with most things, but it was unbearable for him that her father hooked up with a woman. If his father dared do so, he would chop that woman into chucks.

A woman had to survive all the tortures before becoming his stepmother.

"Guards, tie her up and get rid of her, now!"

Garvin Banks was being impatient and thus asked all his guards to drive off Cecelia.

These guards took the order and gathered around to seize Cecelia.

Right at that moment, a loud and husky voice came, "Enough!"

All guards paused and turned around, only to find Remington approaching leading his son.

The father and son were wearing family suits, both in dark purple, looking like an unruly badass.

"What are you doing, Mr. Banks?"

Remington came into the conversation and asked gruffly.

The domination of Remington suddenly prevailed over that of Garvin Banks one time. Garvin Banks hurriedly explained, "Mr. Nelson! Nothing, I'm handling some business!"

Garvin Banks had lost to Remington in a car race and that pissed him off somewhat.

He'd been waiting for a chance to erase that loss.

"Remi..."

Camelia Shawn was nonplussed, for she had never seen Remington Nelson in such a colorful suit. In her memories, Remington always works suits in dark hues, making him look abstruse like a quiet black hole.

"Handling what business? Did the mother of my son offend you?"

Remington put one hand on Cecelia's shoulder as the move to dominatingly show his relationship with her.

Cecelia slowly moved his hand away without being noticed to look back at her son, who threw himself towards her and embrace her leg.

Cecelia looked down on the boy with a smile and stroked his little head.

She was somehow wearing a light purple dress for the dinner, perfectly matching the color the suits of Remington and their son were in.

When the three stood together, they made a perfect example of what a perfect family should look like with the family suits.

Even a blind person could see that in them!

Garvin Banks was somewhat shocked and asked, "Doesn't the rumor say you've got a divorce with this Ms. Linsey? Why..."

"Whether or not she and I get a divorce is none of your business!"

Remington straightly chided him back, "We three are having dinner here tonight. Show me your guts if you dare tell her off!"

He said that in a flat tone, yet it was taunting and deterrent.

He was saying that as if they'd restored their marriage.

Garvin Banks was okay with that, at least it wasn't like she was going to be his stepmother.

Garvin Banks couldn't be offensive to Remington so he apologized, "It was a misunderstanding! Mr. Nelson, go up, please! I'm sorry, Ms. Linsey, for the offense!"

The guards stepped aside and made a way, watching Remington going into the restaurant, holding Cecelia's shoulder and taking his son's hand.

It made Camelia Shawn's face darken to witness all of this.

The man she couldn't get invited the woman she hated to dinner. She was so jealous seeing how happy this family was!

"Garvin, you let them go up like that?"

"What else choice do I have? Mr. Nelson is beyond my league. My dad has told me the last offendable person in the city is Remington Nelson.
