Remington had secretly found out Cecelia was looking for her brother Kevin and investigating a human trafficker named Fernando in the black market. So, he had asked his men to look for Fernando and finally had a clue. If he could help her find Kevin, she would be touched.

Cecelia talked with Jersey in Bluebell Mansion.

He did not care she had married Remington but asked, "Since you are divorced, can you give me a chance?"

"I'm sorry. I've explained it many times. I'm sorry."

Cecelia could not force herself to love him, so she said, "You let Jessica and Kara save me and helped me and my children a lot. I am grateful. I can work hard to requite your kindness, but I can't force myself to fall in love with you."

She had no feelings for him, so she could not accept him out of gratitude. She always regarded him as an elder brother. They had a friendship and family affection, but there was no love.

"I see!"

Jersey was heartbroken because he could not win her heart no matter how much effort he made. And he wondered why she could accept Remington. He was unwilling to admit defeat and asked, "Do you reject me because of Remington?"

"It has nothing to do with him."

"Don't lie! You have long known him and given birth to his children. I know it is partially because of him that you returned here."

Cecelia did not want him to continue chasing after her. Since he thought so, she admitted it, saying, "Well, I admit it. It's because of him! After all, he is my children's father! You saved my life, but I can only marry one man."

Remington led her into a villa which was Fernando's lover's residence. He did not live in the Center City but came here to date the woman every month.

Cecelia soon saw a tied man lying on the ground of the living room with a thick gold necklace around his neck like a dog chain. And he was indeed the man in the photo from Robert.

"Is he Fernando?" Cecelia asked.
