Married by Accident, Taming the Billionaire novel Chapter 251

Chapter 251 Battle for the Daughter! The Daughter Finally Returns

"Miss Taylor, you should know that I have ten thousand ways to take Doris away! But I can't bear to harm Doris, so I respect you and hope you can return her to me! Or let her choose for herself whether to go with her birth mother!"

Remington stood before them, his tone icy.

Petunia looked at Doris with tears in her eyes, and Doris' gaze was full of longing. "Auntie, I want to go find mommy!"

"No! You don't have a mommy! You are a motherless child! You don't have a mommy!"

Petunia was too agitated, her tone was fierce, and Doris was frightened.

It was the first time Doris heard her aunt say she didn't have a mommy. Why?

She had a mommy!

Before, they all told her that her mommy had gone far away, but now she knew her mommy had come back.

"I'm not motherless! I have a mommy!"

Doris struggled to get down, "I want to go find mommy..."

"No! No! You are going home with me, Doris!"

Petunia held onto Doris and tried to run in another direction. Remington signaled, and Fredric Ingerwood and Winger moved forward to stop them.

They had to bring Doris back today at all costs and with all means!

"What are you doing? This is robbery!"

Petunia clung to Doris and refused to let go, but as a woman, how could she keep off these men?

Fredric and Winger managed to take Doris away from Petunia, who fell to the ground and began to cry, "Don't... don't take Doris away... Doris..."

"Auntie..."

Doris saw her fall down and became very worried, but there was nothing she could do as she was being taken away.

Remington managed to reclaim his daughter. Although he didn't do it in an honorable way, that was his own daughter and he had to take her home. He couldn't allow the child to be hostagd by the Taylor family as leverage against Cecelia!

"Sir, my aunt fell down!"

Doris was leaning against the glass, watching Petunia get farther and farther away, feeling anxious.

"She'll get up, Doris, don't worry! You'll see your mommy soon!"

Doris nodded, then turned around and saw her aunt standing up. She felt relieved.

She was willing to go with Remington because she believed he would take her to her mommy!

This was their secret!

Taylor Group conference room.

Cecelia and Maggie Taylor hadn't reached an agreement.

The negotiation reached a stalemate. Cecelia walked back, taking the box and the imitation copy from the expert's hands.

"Since Mrs. Taylor's intention is about something beyond merely researching the fragrant attire, I'll take with me this imitation copy as well!"

She took the imitation of the secret manual back, then left directly.

Watching Cecelia leave so arrogantly, Maggie Taylor's anger was boiling.

Her plans had been found by Cecelia, her efforts were all in vain now!

She called someone, "Sir, Cecelia Linsey is a cunning woman. She deceived me with the imitation copy! I didn't get the real secret manual!"

A deep voice came from the other end, "You have the girl, right?"

"Yes!"

"Then wait until she gets the other half of the secret manual before taking action!"

"Yes, sir!"

As soon as the call ended, Maggie Taylor heard her daughter's cries from outside.

Then she saw Petunia running in, crying, and her heart trembled, "Petunia, what happened?"

"Mom... Remington Nelson... He and his men took Doris away..."

"What?"

Maggie Taylor slumped into a chair, shocked and unable to recover.

Just a moment ago, she was thinking that at least she had the girl in her possession, a bargaining chip. But now, she realized that Cecelia was much more cunning than she had thought.

Exchanging the imitation for the secret manual was just a diversion. Her true purpose was to stall time for Remington to take Doris away.

Now not only did Petunia fail to get the secret manual, but also lost her only bargaining chip, she didn't know what to do.

"Mom, call the police... get Doris back!"
