Married by Accident, Taming the Billionaire novel Chapter 276

Chapter 276 Deliberately Challenging and Testing

When the man walked onto the stage, the crowd realized who he was.

It turned out that Karen had invited Jonathan Jill, the owner of Gleam Gallery.

Truly, he was a respected expert in the art business. He had been in the gallery business for many years and spent his days in the midst of all kinds of art.

If he didn't have a keen eye for authenticity, how could he be in this business?

Jonathan took the microphone, shook Karen's hand and then spoke, "Thank you, Mrs. Long, for inviting me to KLCS Charity Day today."

Jonathan's charming personality gave off an artistic vibe, which had made him popular among women.

His words hold a lot of weight due to his status and position.

"Last time there was a con man impersonating Mr. Guston at the Gleam Gallery. The police got involved at the time. I flew to the Swaxon Kingdom and did some research to find out who Mr. Guston was.

"Based on my investigation, I found out the real identity of Mr. Guston in the end... Mr. Guston is indeed Miss Cecelia Linsey... I was very shocked at the time and had the same reaction that you are having right now.

"I have also sought confirmation from the Painting and Art Association and the National Collection of Fine Art of the Swaxon Kingdom, as well as from the police of the Swaxon Kingdom. And they all confirmed that Miss Cecelia is Mr. Guston.

“The photos here are ones I specifically brought back. Among them are pictures of Miss Cecelia donating paintings for charity in the Swaxon Kingdom, as well as photos of her with the curator of the Painting and Art Association and the National Collection of Fine Art in the Swaxon Kingdom.”

The group photos that Jonathan brought back were the best proof.

Her identity was confirmed!

Cecelia Linsey was the legendary Mr. Guston!

All the people present were shocked and looked towards Cecelia.

At this time, Cecelia was invited on stage by Karen.

Maggie Taylor was not very surprised by this result, but her daughter Petunia Taylor was so shocked.

'What? The Avant-garde artist I admire is Cecelia Linsey?! The work I paid such an expensive price to get is actually by Linsey?'

At that moment, Petunia felt it was a big blow right in her face. Just previously, she was still praising how amazing Mr. Guston was, but now, she suddenly felt that Mr. Guston's works did not have the charm anymore.

She now felt that the truth was even harder to swallow than eating a fly. This feeling was too uncomfortable!

Cecelia stood on the stage, shook hands with Jonathan and Karen, respectively, and then greeted the others in the audience.

"Hello, everyone. I'm Cecelia Linsey. And I'm also Mr. Guston."

Karen said to the audience, "Does everyone understand now? Does anyone still have any questions? I think all of you should recall how much Mr. Guston has contributed to global social charity. Who among you can surpass her?"

All the people present were speechless and had no rebuttal.

It was likely that the contributions of all of them combined would still not surpass Mr. Guston's contributions.

What was more, Mr. Guston never did charity for fame. He had always been low-key and didn't even give interviews. Perhaps Mr. Guston had done even more contributions than they were aware of.

Even though there was evidence brought by Jonathan that could prove Cecelia's identity, Petunia still didn't want to believe it.

"Even if you prove that she is 'Mr. Guston', I still doubt it. If Cecelia is really Mr. Guston, then let her paint here in public. Let us see if she's the real Mr. Guston or not? Miss Linsey, if you can do it, then we will believe that you are Mr. Guston!"

Hearing this, Cecelia knew that Petunia was deliberately challenging her and testing her.

Karen asked Cecelia if she could paint on the spot, and Cecelia simply replied, "Yes. Ms. Long, please help me prepare the painting tools!"
